Wood-burning appliances

Airtight wood-burning appliances are an effective way of combating the rising cost of fossil fuel.  These units are available as freestanding stoves, zero clearance fireplaces, and as inserts for existing low-efficient fireplaces.  They come in a variety of sizes, styles, and colors to fit nearly any décor.  In addition, we also offer the Woodchuck add-on wood/coal-burning furnace for whole house heating.

Wood-burning stoves, fireplaces, and inserts are made from one of three materials: steel, cast iron, or soapstone.  We offer steel units in two versions:  An economical, lightweight unit from Dutchwest, and the ever popular, heavy-duty models from Buck Stove.  Our cast iron lines are from Dutchwest, Vermont Castings, and Hearthstone.  To round out our line, we offer soapstone units from Hearthstone.  If an airtight fireplace is what you need, then check out our line of high-efficiency models from Kozy Heat.

At Fireplaces ‘N’ Fixin’s, we believe that burning wood is one of the most romantic, beautiful, and satisfying ways to heat your home. Wood burning can be very economical, while also offering the additional benefits of a beautiful flame, relaxing warmth, and a romantic ambiance.  A trusted appliance for decades, the warmth and aroma of a wood-burning stove or fireplace invokes a sense of comfort and security while offering safe, natural heat.
